Abstract

A 65 years old gentleman presented to the outpatient department with chief complaints of gradual painless swelling present on the nasal side of the left eye since childhood. There was no associated history of allergy or atopy. Patient denied any history of trauma . There was no significant past medical or ocular history . On examination , visual acuity was CF 2m . On diffuse biomicroscopic examination , pupil was round with brisk reaction , without a relative afferent pupillary defect. Ocular movement was full in all gazes. Intraocular pressure was :

Further examination revealed , a tiny conjunctival cyst measuring about 5 mm with overlying blood vessel located nasally on the conjunctiva over a nasal pterygium. On palpation, a solitary , non tender , non pulsatile , cystic swelling was felt.

The remaining ocular examination on slit lamp bio-microscope was unremarkable.
