Abstract
A 45 yrs female Uncontrolled DM under insulin diagnosed as Le pre-septal cellulitis during the surge of 2nd waves of covide pandemic by an oculoplasty surgeon and started IV systemic antibiotics and she was referred for OU significant DOV with Periorbital swelling, corneal infiltration and LE conjunctival epi-defect with generalized toxic looks with mild fever and suspected ROM.COVID RTPCR was negative and OU scraping also negative for Gram and KOH and started Topical Antibiotics & oral Antifungal to suspect a case of Mucormyosis and blood test send to rule out Collagen vascular disease and CNS MRI done and through ENT examination to rule out ROM . In spite of aggressive medication progressive inflammation noted & MRI also suggestive of suspected ROM, mean while CRP, ESR, RA reports came s/o high titre s/o RA associated PUK and started Oral steroid 1mg/kg and showing significant improvement with quiet eyes & bcva 6/9, N6, so during covide all red inflamed eyes are not by Mucor
