Abstract
a hindu male of 45 years old came to the opd with a complain of swelling of right left eye with redness and chemosis which developed over 15 days time. He gave a history of road traffic accident 2 month back for which he suffered head injury. no other significant past history. V/A right eye 6/6, left eye 6/36. IOP with in normal limits EOM were full free and painless, right eye anterior segment normal limit, left eye- proptosis, non pulsatile, chemosis, normal pupil reaction to light. posterior segment within normal limits both eyes. Ct scan report showed no significant abnormality expect proptosis. MRA of brain showed indirect carotido-cavernous fistula, and large superior ophthalmic vein on the left side. the patient was then advised for DSA scan which intern would help pin point the area of the fistula.
