Abstract
Epidermoid cysts are rare lesions that constitute approx.1–1.5% of all intracranial neoplasms. They can be either primary or secondary cysts .Primary lesions are choristomas. Here we present a case of 20yr old male presented with a history of swelling in lateral part of right eyebrow region since childhood .The swelling was insidious in onset and gradually increasing in size but he noticed rapid increase in size since last 5 years. It was a right sided superolateral orbital swelling 4 x 3x 2cm in dimension not involving upper eyelid free from underlying structures .There was no restriction of eye movements present, anterior and posterior segments within normal limits in both eyes and no proptosis found. There was no history of trauma found. The cytology report and histopathology report was suggestive of epidermoid cyst. Cyst excision was done and no adhesion with underlying deeper structures found.
