Abstract

This is a thought provoking paper.

Much more knowledge is added after the course of MBBS. This happens to be through representatives of different companies. Conferences ? Yes, but most of them are sponsored or have financial interest. Leading ultimately to the fact that newer information is through company people.

They claim lot of benefits and want us to put their ,specially, the IOLs .

Company people insist on training our staff for the counselling. They expect us to do counselling for their IOLs and talk the benefits.

After all thorough investigations and expertise, do we get the acclaimed so called Trifocality, Multifocalty, Glare and Halos free, glistening free etc ?

If not, then we are the one who are blamed after the premium IOLs implants.

Why? Why should the company go scot free.
