Abstract
This report highlights the importance of immunohistochemistry (IHC) in aiding the diagnosis of a vascular limbal mass in a child, known case of vernal keratoconjunctivitis (VKC) for which he was on topical treatment. He had presented with progressive limbal mass of 4 months duration. On examination, a clinically suspicious, well-defined vascular mass of 4*7*2 mm in size, occupying nearly 3 clock hour of limbus was seen for which an excision biopsy with amniotic membrane transplantation was done, revealing a dense infiltration of lymphoid cells-probable lymphoid hyperplasia or lymphoma. IHC was further done which ruled out an underlying lymphoma.
