Abstract
A 23 year old female presented with decreased vision and exotropia in the left eye since childhood. On evaluation patient had perception of light with accurate projection of rays in the left eye. She had 30PD exotropia in the left eye. The anterior segment showed absense of pupil with folded and crumpled iris tissue. The corneal diameter was 11 mm and intraocular pressure was 16 mm Hg in left eye. USG B Scan showed normal posterior segment in the left eye. Patient was advised pupilloplasty but refused surgery. Very few cases of Acorea have been reported in literature and this is one such case where early pupilloplasty could have prevented stimulus deprivation amblyopia and sensory exotropia.
