Abstract
Purpose: To report novel and unusual retinal manifestations in Post COVID 19 Patients
Method: We report a case of 2 post COVID-19 patients who presented with diminution of vision. On evaluation, first case showed bilateral multiple pre-macular hemorrhage unmasking pancytopenia and second showed large sub-macular hemorrhage with sub-retinal fluid mimicking choroidal neovascular membrane in one eye.
Result: Patients were appropriately treated with steroid and laser and has good visual recovery
Conclusion: COVID‐19 can present with multiorgan involvement resulting from direct viral toxicity, endothelial cell damage, thrombo‐inflammation or dysregulation of immune response, which may also lead to ophthalmic complication and retinal manifestations. The Ophthalmologist needs to be vigilant so as to promptly diagnose and treat such unusual vision‐affecting clinical entities.
