Abstract
A 30-year-old female presented with diminution of vision in both eyes (LE > RE) which she noticed 3 years back. There was no history of ocular trauma or surgery. The BCVA in RE was -1.25 DC × 90º 6/9 and in LE was -7.00 DS/ -2.00 DC × 120º 6/36 with no binocular diplopia. On examination, RE was normal. In LE, lens was deficient temporally having irregular and notched edge with grade 1 PSC and marked vitreous degeneration. There was no coloboma of iris, retina or choroid. A diagnosis of lens coloboma (extending 4 clock hours) with grade 1 PSC, high axial myopia and lenticular astigmatism (LE) was made with anisometropic amblyopia. She was advised lens extraction with IOL and CTR implantation. But she refused for the same. Hence, she was prescribed glasses and was asked to follow up to check for symptoms of aniseikonia. We report this unusual case of unilateral lens coloboma located temporally without any iris and retinochoroidal coloboma or any other ocular or systemic abnormality.
