Abstract
The Nevus of Ota or Oculodermal melanocytosis(ODM) is a rare syndrome consisting of a greyish-blue, discoloration of the sclera, and ipsilateral periocular skin. The primary presentation is to the dermatologist due to skin pigmentation. Association with palatal, uveal, leptomeningeal melanosis and risk of malignant transformation makes nevus of Ota a multi-system disease. Glaucoma, ocular melanoma, cosmesis are Ophthalmic concerns. We report a case of a 25-year-male of Indian origin with unilateral advanced Glaucoma in the case of Nevus of Ota. Though reported as common in Asians this is only the second case report from India of Glaucoma in ODM.
