Abstract
The purpose of the authors is to show clinical findings of a patient with benign concentric annular macular dystrophy, which is an unusual condition, and part of the “bull’s eye” maculopathy differential diagnosis. A 35 year old female came to our ophthalmology department for progressive diminution of vision in both eyes. An ophthalmologic examination with color perception, fluorescein angiography, OCT and ocular electrophysiology was performed. visual acuity (VA) was 6/12 in right eye and 6/9 in left eye. we found in the fundoscopy of her both eyes an image of annular pigment epithelial atrophy in the macula zone with mottled pigment in the lesion.. The patient had no relevant family history.
