There is an epidemic of Diabetic Retinopathy (DR) in India and we are walking in tandem with the world in managing it.

This course aims to present the DR management options being practiced at the best Instituitions in India, with real life case examples and will illustrate the best use of cutting edge technology, keeping our economy in mind:

1) Using Multimodal imaging to decide appropriate intervention

2) Metabolic Control and the role of AntiVEGF in DR

3) Role of Steroids including Suprachoroidal injections in Diabetic Macular Edema (DME)

4) Role of conventional and newer lasers today in DR

5) Vitrectomy in DME and various grades of PDR

6) Cataract Surgery, timing, technique and the choice of IOL
