Abstract
DR. NISHIKANT BORSE
With the advent of modern vitreoretinal techniques , retinal surgeons have been pushing the boundaries of surgical solutions for retinal disorders. Till now retinal vascular disorders have been managed with medical retinal therapies like intravitreal injections or lasers. However in many cases these therapies do not give the desired results or sometimes there is no benefit at all. These therapies do not work in conditions like vascular tumours , arterial occlusions etc.
This IC will focus on seeking surgical solutions for such untreatable retinal vascular conditions.
