Abstract

Trabeculectomy is the most commonly performed glaucoma surgery the world over. It has several modifications which can improve the efficacy of the procedure and lead to better outcomes such as in combination with cataract, antimetabolites, same site and two site procedures, fornix and limbus based procedures. In-spite of a continued quest for newer glaucoma surgeries trabeculectomy and its modifications have stood the test of time. In this video we aim to showcase the basic trabeculectomy and it myriad modifications.
