Abstract
Given that there has been an increase in the utilization of 3-piece intraocular lenses in complicated cataract surgeries where capsular support is compromised, there have been cases where this lens dislocates in the vitreous cavity. Although there have been techniques described to refixate this lens using iris suture or through scleral fixation technique, none of the described techniques is sutureless or without intervention in the anterior chamber. We believe that the innovative surgical technique described in this video will appeal to all ophthalmologists.
