Abstract
A 26yrs/M presented to us with H/O of open globe injury in LE due to a road traffic accident. At presentation, he had a fullthickness tri radiant corneal tear with uveal tissue prolapse. The projection of rays was accurate and there was no reverse RAPD. CT scan of Orbit & Brain was normal. The patient underwent emergency corneal tear repair with limited automated anterior vitrectomy. The intraoperative lens was found to be spontaneously extruded. On 7th postop day the patient had 6/24 BCVA. Over a 10 months course corneal & retinal status remained stable however, he developed refractory glaucoma. Because of the two main concerns refractory glaucoma, aphakia & loss of the iris tissue. The patient underwent for a combined AGV and Aniridia scleral fixated IOL. Post Op BCVA was 6/24 & IOP was within normal. 2yrs later he developed corneal decompensation. Then we performed optical penetrating keratoplasty with trimming of the AGV tube. The surgery was uneventful with the PostOp BCVA of 6/9.
