Abstract
A 22 yr old male came with complaints of defective vision of Both eyes (LE>RE)for 5 months who is a known case of Achondroplasia. On examination, the best corrected visual acuity was 6/9 in the Right eye and 6/36 in the Left eye. His intraocular pressure was normal. Anterior segment was normal. An orthoptic evaluation showed left convergent squint going to alternate convergent squint with no BSV. Fundus examination of RE was normal and LE showed thick tortuous vessels running out from the optic disc with macular edema. MRI brain/MRA/MRV was normal. No cutaneous lesion over the face. Patient diagnosed as an Isolated Racemose hemangioma also known as Wyburn-mason syndrome. It is a congenital arteriovenous malformations without neurological and cutaneous involvement. Patient treated with Best glass and close observation advised to look for progression and vision loss due to vitreous, intraretinal or macular hemorrhage and neovascular glaucoma.
