Abstract
This retrospective study of 22 eyes of 11 patients was aimed to evaluate functional outcomes of Femtosecond laser assisted cataract surgery (FLACS) with Toric IOL implantation in Post Radial Keratotomy eyes in last five years .RK cuts were ranging from 12 to 18.Preoperative astigmatism was ranging from +/- 2 D to 5.50 D. Modified true net formula was used in IOL master. Energy settings of laser system were critically modulated to achieve desirable precision in all the steps of the surgery. Incomplete rhexis and inadequate nucleotomy in two cases each and opening of RK incision in three cases were noted intraop constraints. Unaided Post op visual acuity was ranging from 6/12 to 6/9 having residual astigmatism ranging from plus /minus 0.75 to 1.75 Diopter . An effective modulation of energy settings can minimise the occurrence of incomplete Laser penetration due to Post RK Corneal scar. True net formula had provided better predictability of presumed IOL power in these cases.
