We present a rare case of 15 year old female with sudden dimness of vision in LE. On fundus examination,(LE)central choroiditis patch was noted along with optic neuritis, vitreous cells and flare .She was specifically investigated for tuberculosis and toxoplasma infection along with routine blood investigation. Her toxoplasma-IgG report came reactive. On oct-macula, (LE)central subfield thickness was 780 um. She was started on T. Wysolone along with T. Azithromycin and T.Septran DS. Topically,she was advised steroid eye drop along with NSAID. On 7 day follow-up, her vision improved by 2 snellen line.
Result: She was diagnosed with active toxoplasma macular choroiditis. She was explained about the prognosis and recurrence.
Conclusion:
Through systemic evaluation is very essential to achieve desired result.
