Abstract
VOGT KOYANAGI HARADA disease is defined as a bilateral granulomatous pan-uveitis seen in young adults. affects the eyes, ears, CNS& skin. A case report of 33yr old Female reported to the tertiary care center
Visakhapatnam. The patient presented with complaints of diminution of vision both eyes since10 days. complain of hearing loss since 10days ON EXAMINATION Visual acuity -BE-HM+ BE EOM-full and free movements in all cardinal directions. ANTERIOR SEGMENT – conjunctival congestion +, circumcorneal congestion +, cornea -clear with iris pigments and KPs on endothelium, anterior chamber-normal depth with 4+ cells ,2+ flare, pupils-mid dilated not reacting to light, posterior synechiae in all quadrants, lens-IMSC with pigments on lens capsule, FUNDUS-BE-Media hazy Vitreous cells + , OD margins indistinct S/O edema ,dilated & tortuous vessels+, Near total exudative RD+. IOP-RE-8mmHg LE-6mmHg .B Scan-Shallow RD with sub-retinal extension with choroidal thickening and choroidal detachment.
