Abstract
INTRODUCTION :Age related macular degenerations can cause visual impairment through a combination of neovascular / non-neovascular derangement. We report a case having two extremes of this disease are noted in one patient
CASE REPORT :A 70 year old patient had diminution of vision in both eyes since 4 months. History of cataract surgery in Left Eye 3 months back for which she had no betterment of vision. We confirmed our diagnosis with complete ocular examination with Slitlamp, 78D lens, IO, Fundus Camera, OCT, OCT Angiography :
RE : CNVM- wet ARMD with Nuclear sclerosis gr1 with vision – CF 1mt / NIPH/ NIF
LE : Geographic atrophy-DRY ARMD, Pseudophakia with vision – CF 2 mts / NIPH/
2 doses of Intravitreal Lucentis have been given in right eye & on follow up her CNVM lesion size regressed, visual improvement is noted
