Abstract
Primary intraosseous cavernous hemangiomas are rare benign vascular tumor that rarely involve the orbital bones or the dura. A 36 years old male presented with protrusion with down and inward displacement, diminution of vision and restricted ocular motility in right eye since 4 years. On ocular examination, visual acuity in right & left eye was 4/60 & 6/6 respectively. 7cm × 6.5cm lobular mass situated at right orbital margin & right side of the forehead causing eccentric proptosis, hard in consistency, fixed with underlying bone & non-reducible. Vertical & horizontal dystopia was 24mm & 34mm respectively. Conjunctival congestion, choroidal folds & localized RPE changes found in fundus. CECT orbit showed expansile bony lesion arising from superolateral wall of right orbit with coarse trabecular pattern exerting mass effect over right orbital structure suggestive of intradiplopic hemangioma. Neurosurgical consultation was done & planned for excision of the mass & reconstruction.
