Abstract

As topical mode of medication is the most popularly used mode of drug delivery in ophthalmological practice, the ease of applying the medication in the eye is of utmost importance. There are chronic eye conditions which need regular eye drop application throughout their life. So there is a need of good topical drug delivery device to decrease the dependency of the patients on others to apply these eye drops for them. Keeping this in mind, there have been many innovations all over the world. This video film comprises of a small compilation of the eyedrop delivery devices currently available in the market. This video film has been produced in view to create awareness about the new advances in ophthalmological drug delivery system and has no financial interest.
